Pretty much everyone knows this already, but Taylor got to sing the National Anthem at the Ford 400 yesterday! It’s a pretty big deal – the last race of the season, 80,000 people in attendance, countless thousands (if not millions) viewing via TV. That’s some awesome PR right there.
Taylor sounded terrific and looked great. There are some publicity photos (apparently) from a press conference where he is just smiling ear to ear.
Is Tony Stewart really this short or is he standing in a hole?
He just looks so delighted, and am I crazy or does TS look a little too happy himself? A fan of Taylor’s perhaps? Hmm …
The actual event:
It was just so moving! A straight-forward, reverent, soul-stirring rendition with just a touch of Taylorization at the end. It was very impressive.
One more picture, and this one I like because Sean is in it. Yep, Taylor got to spend some time with his “baby” brother.
